Why do we allow hatred to be perpetuated in Yahoo Answer?

Aren’t there enough hatred and violence in the real world, that we need to bring in to the cyberworld. Why aren't the members now insensitive towards one when asking and answering questions? Have we degraded this site to a propoganda machine which is only beneficial to the bigots?
