"I will have to say that I do not have any experience with credit cards at all. I was always told by my parents not to get involved with credit cards and have choose not to. As far as my credit goes, I started building my credit when I was sixteen years old. My parents wanted me to be responsible, so when I got my first job at the age of sixteen, I took out a loan to purchase a car and my folks co-signed for me. After that I just kept building good credit by paying my loan payment on time and applying more than the minimum payment to the loan. After paying my first car off, I decided I wanted to get a nicer vehicle, so I went to see what I could trade it in on and found a car that I really liked, so I went to the bank by myself and applied for another loan and was able to get that loan with out a co-signer."
