"Friend" Seems to Think The World Revolves Around Her?

Well, I recently went through some serious family issues with my father and mother and I couldn't make it to college this semester, due to many financial issues and some unresolved issues with my father... in short, my father ended up trying to physically hurt me after I trusted him to take me to college (I had no one else to take me up there). Anyhow, my one friend Paula, is now throwing a fit because of this, and she's upset that I won't be able to around her this semester. She's throwing a fit, not talking to me, spreading rumors, and she told me it was all MY fault that this happened.
