Lack of balance in our government?

If Obama wins the election, do you realize the three branches of our goverment would be run by Democrats? because eventually Obama would appoint his own Democrat buddies to the Judicial branch, every president does. Don't you find it scary?, I mean leaving aside the fact that I am a Republican and I don't particularly care for socialism, shouldn't we try to find a balance in our Government? What are your thoughts?
