How can a 13 year old girl lose weight?

I'm a 13 year old girl, 5'2, and weigh 190 pounds. I'm very uncomfortable with my body and it's really unhealthy to be this overweight. I tried losing weight by eating like 900 calories a day, which I regret deeply and will never do again. I am ready to lose it slowly and steadily. Would this work? Excersizing 30 mins in the morning, right when I wake up before eating anything, trying to eat healthier, and only eating until I'm satisfied, not bloated? I'm not the best with sticking to the really strict diets. My ideal weight is 90-110, the BMI calculator says, so I'd like to get down around there, no matter how long it takes. I just need to lose some weight. Any tips?
